The steps to create a layout

After the discussion , we decided to use this layout . I have done this layout by using illustrator. Every member have this layout so it is easy for them to create their calender .

1. create a new layer, then select paint bucket tool. Make sure the foreground colour is white colour . Double click on the layer and rename

2. select rectangular marquee tool then create 3 rectangular shapes . After that, edit > cut ,  the 3 rectangular shapes change to transparent

3. CTRL+ R (ruler) drag a guide line to separate the picture and calender . file > place , place the pink polka dot image. press ALT & click on the line between layers , clipping mask shown.

Background of the layout

Each of our group members ought to search for a background which is suitable to our calender.

After we have a discussion again , all of us decided to use pink polka dot as our calender background .

Reason : 

Pink color is the most suitable color for dessert . Pink color represent sweet , women or young girls. When we talk about dessert , first sense is girly . Gals like to eat dessert , because the pink  polka dot background represent girly so we choose to use it . Besides , polka dots are so elegant which is suitable for dessert . The simple circles in the this picture make a wonderful background to our calender.  We want to make our calender simple , but not simply ~

Edible Calendar
For chocolate lovers, this is an edible calendar made of chocolates! Instead of tearing the page and throwing it away to go to the next date or day, we can just eat that part of the calendar.

Progress of Calendar Assignment

After going through several samples and sketches of calendar formats, we've come up with the basic design of the calendar, like so:

Some points to note:
• On the left is the space for the images of our designated subject - desserts.
• Grids are used to provide users of the calendar some space to make notes on the day itself.
• Both Malaysian and international holidays will be included, and will be added to the bottom of the box of their respective dates.
